Macquarie is seeking a senior vice president – debt capital management strategy, infrastructure private equity. The role will involve working with executives of the investment team and portfolio company management to structure and execute financing transactions for new acquisitions and existing investments. The successful candidate will also assist in the identification and execution of M&A transactions — both new investments and bolt-on acquisitions for portfolio companies. Applicants should have a minimum of six to eight years’ experience in investment banking, project finance, commercial banking, or private equity, with a focus on debt structuring and origination. M&A execution experience is preferred, with exposure to buy-side M&A analysis, due diligence, and transaction financing. The position is located in New York.
Babson Capital Strategic Investors, the private equity division of Babson Capital Management LLC, is on the lookout for an associate director of private equity, funds and co-investments. The hire will be responsible for the support of origination, underwriting, closing, and monitoring of a portfolio of private equity fund and equity co-investments. Candidates should have three to five years of experience with alternative investment strategies such as buyouts, venture capital, and growth equity, as well as prior responsibilities for research, underwriting, negotiating, and monitoring of PE funds and direct co-investments. Extensive travel, domestic and international, is required. The position is located in Charlotte, North Carolina.
Pacific Life is looking to hire a senior private equity analyst. The successful candidate will analyze private equity credit-oriented fund investments (senior secured, mezzanine, stressed, opportunistic, etc.), assist in drafting underlying fund write-ups, and present recommendations for investment opportunities in assigned sectors. Applicants should have a CFA, MBA, or professional/graduate qualification in an investment-related discipline, as well as three to seven years’ related investment experience. Strong knowledge of corporate finance and credit markets is preferred. The position is located in Newport Beach, California.
