Hidden Harbor adds new principal to team

Hidden Harbor Capital Partners has hired Brett Craig as a principal. Previously, Craig worked at H.I.G. Capital where he served as a vice president. In addition to the new appointment, Hidden Harbor has also moved to a new office in Fort Lauderdale, Florida.


FORT LAUDERDALE, FL – August 1, 2016 –Hidden Harbor Capital Partners (“Hidden Harbor”), an operationally focused private equity firm specializing in control investments in lower middle market companies, announced today that it has named Brett Craig as a Principal in the firm. In this role, Mr. Craig will be responsible for sourcing and closing new investments, conducting due diligence, and working closely with the partners in managing the firm’s portfolio.

At the same time, Hidden Harbor noted that it has moved to a new office in Fort Lauderdale, Florida, to accommodate recent hires and continued expansion.

Prior to joining Hidden Harbor, Brett served as Vice President at H.I.G. Capital, where he sourced and executed distressed buyouts, conducted due diligence, and managed portfolio companies post-investment through operational improvement initiatives, executive recruiting, add-on acquisitions, and assessment of exit alternatives. He also managed portfolio company sale processes and refinancings. Along the way, Brett developed strong relationships with management teams, industry experts and investment bankers, which will be of great benefit to Hidden Harbor. Previously, Brett held the position of Associate at Quad-C Management, a leading middle market leveraged buyout fund, and served as an analyst for The Blackstone Group in New York City.

Mr. Craig received his M.B.A from Columbia Business School and holds a Bachelor of Arts in Economics from the University of Pennsylvania.
