Perella Weinberg taps Rossi as MD

Perella Weinberg Partners has hired Mauro Rossi as a managing director for its advisory business. Previously, Rossi worked at Morgan Stanley where he served as an executive director focused on M&A, strategic advisory, corporate restructuring and fundraising deals for clients in the insurance sector.

New York, NY – August 17, 2016 – Perella Weinberg Partners today announced that Mauro Rossi has joined the Firm as a Managing Director in its Advisory business. Based in New York, Mr. Rossi will be a member of the Firm’s Financial Institutions Group (FIG), providing strategic and financial advice to clients in the insurance sector.

Mr. Rossi has over 15 years of financial services industry experience. He joins from Morgan Stanley where he was an Executive Director focused on mergers and acquisitions, strategic advisory, corporate restructuring and capital raising transactions for clients in all sectors of the insurance industry. Prior to that, he worked at Lehman Brothers and, subsequently, Barclays Capital in the Financial Institutions Group of their Investment Banking Division. Mr. Rossi began his career at Securitas Capital.
