Adams Street Partners appointed Jeff Akers head of secondary investments. Akers joined the firm in 2006 and will succeed Jason Gull, who announced his retirement from Adams Street and the secondary industry, effective at the end of 2016.

With almost two decades of experience in financial services, Akers has worked previously at LEK Consulting, William Blair & Company, and SunTrust Equitable Securities.
With this promotion, Akers takes over a team of 13 investment professionals. Adams Street has completed over 190 secondary deals since 1986.
