Amazon Web Services is seeking a business development manager, private equity. The hire will be responsible for shaping and delivering a strategy to promote Amazon’s cloud computing platform within private equity firms and their portfolio companies. Qualifications include at least seven to 10 years of business development, consulting or program/product management experience, as well as experience in and knowledge of the private equity industry. The position is located in New York.

East West Bank has an opening for an officer of private equity for the East Coast. Duties include generating new leads, structuring debt solutions, and managing the underwriting, due diligence, documentation and booking process. Candidates need at least six years of banking experience, with a minimum of three years in direct portfolio/client management. An understanding of firm structures, and of the respective markets of private equity and debt sub-segments (fund of funds, energy, venture capital, mezzanine, etc.), is also required. The position is located in Massachusetts.

Primary Venture Partners is recruiting a VP of portfolio support and network. The role’s primary function is to coordinate operational support for Primary’s portfolio companies. The successful candidate will build and manage the firm’s Primary Expert Network, which consists of 200 operators and technologists in New York City. Applicants should have at least two to three years of experience at an early-stage startup, especially in a product, business development or marketing role at an e-commerce or SaaS company.
