Michael Bowman tapped by Northleaf as VP private equity

Canadian private markets investor Northleaf Capital Partners has recruited Michael Bowman as vice president, private equity. Working from Northleaf’s Toronto office, Bowman will be involved in all aspects of the firm’s investment activity, with a focus on the origination, evaluation and monitoring of equity co-investments and direct secondary investments. Bowman previously served as vice president, corporate development at Brookfield Global Integrated Solutions, a Canadian facility management business acquired last year by Brookfield Asset Managment’s private equity group.

Michael Bowman joins Northleaf Capital Partners as Vice President, Private Equity

Northleaf Capital Partners is pleased to announce that Michael Bowman has joined our firm as Vice President, Private Equity, based in our Toronto office. In this role, Michael will participate in all aspects of Northleaf’s private markets investment activities, with a focus on the origination, evaluation and monitoring of private equity co-investments and direct secondary investments

Prior to joining Northleaf, Michael was a Vice President, Corporate Development at Brookfield Global Integrated Solutions, where he was responsible for developing and leading all strategic acquisitions and development of internal Brookfield Asset Management account relationships. Previously, Michael held progressively senior origination and transaction-focused positions at Centric Health Corporation and PricewaterhouseCoopers. Michael received an Honours Economics degree from Queen’s University and completed the Masters of Management and Professional Accounting (MMPA) program at the Rotman School of Business. He holds the Chartered Professional Accountant designation.
