Mosaic Capital appoints Monty Balderston to CFO spot

Canadian private equity firm Mosaic Capital Corp has appointed Monty Balderston as CFO, replacing Allan Fowler, who resigned to pursue other opportunities. Balderston brings to the role some 20 years of experience in senior finance and accounting, including as CFO at Peak Energy Services Ltd and Northern Frontier Corp. Based in Calgary, Mosaic invests in mid-market companies located primarily in Western Canada. Late last year, it secured a $150 million investment from Fairfax Financial Holdings Ltd.


Mosaic Capital Announces New Chief Financial Officer

Calgary, Alberta – June 26, 2017. Mosaic Capital Corporation (“Mosaic”), (“the Company”) (TSX-V Symbols: M and M.DB) announced today that it has appointed Monty Balderston as Mosaic’s Chief Financial Officer. Mr. Balderston is a CPA, CA and joins Mosaic with a 20-year track record of progressively senior finance and accounting roles including Chief Financial Officer at Peak Energy Services Ltd. and Northern Frontier Corp.

Allan Fowler resigned as Chief Financial Officer of Mosaic to pursue other opportunities.
