Coller Capital wraps up seventh PE secondaries fund at $7.15 bln

UK-based Coller Capital has closed its seventh private equity secondaries’ fund at $7.15 billion.

Coller International Partners VII will focus on secondary deals and make individual investments between $1 million and over $1 billion.

CIP VII has about 170 limited partners, which include pension plans, sovereign wealth funds, insurance companies, endowments and family offices.

Coller’s previous fund raised $5.5 billion in 2012, generating an average IRR of 23.44 percent and average multiple of 1.46x, as of June 30, 2015, according to data provider Bison.
