Toronto-based LifeLabs Medical Laboratory Services, a provider of lab testing, has named Chris Carson as vice president of partner relations and transformation. Previously, Carson worked at Trillium Health Partners where he was associate vice president. TORONTO, ON and VANCOUVER, BC–(Marketwired – January 07, 2016) – LifeLabs Medical Laboratory Services (“LifeLabs”) today announced the appointment of Chris Carson as Vice-President of Partner Relations and Transformation.
As Canadian healthcare delivery transforms and as lab services become a more critical part of Canada’s healthcare system, cementing our relationships across the health system are of paramount importance. In this new position, Mr. Carson will assume a lead role in maintaining and deepening relationships with LifeLabs’ partners across Canada. In particular, with the release of the Laboratory Services Expert Panel report in Ontario in late 2015, Mr. Carson will play a critical role in establishing renewed relationships with government and health system partners.
Mr. Carson brings to LifeLabs a wealth of distinguished leadership experience in government and healthcare. Since 2014, Mr. Carson served as an Associate Vice President at Trillium Health Partners, accountable for a portfolio comprised of communications, government and community relations, and transformation projects aligned to broader health system change. Prior to joining Trillium Health Partners, Mr. Carson served as Chief of Staff to the Minister of Health and Long Term Care and to the Minister of Children and Youth Services. Mr. Carson holds an MBA from the Richard Ivey School of Business.
