Jobs of the Week: HarbourVest, Partners Group, Hamilton Lane and McNally Capital are hiring

HarbourVest Partners is searching for a vice president for its secondary investment team in Boston. Duties include sourcing and evaluating deals, investment analysis, due diligence, investment recommendation and negotiation, and investment monitoring. The hire will also be responsible for fund management, fund reporting, marketing, investment reporting, and special projects. Candidates should have a minimum of six years of relevant experience or an MBA plus professional experience.

Partners Group is seeking to hire an investment analyst to support its private equity direct investment team in New York. The analyst will perform quantitative and qualitative due diligence on prospective investments and monitor current investments, write deal team investment recommendations for presentation to investment committee, and perform tasks related to product reporting. One to two years of investment banking experience is desired. Credible valuation and modeling skills are required.

Hamilton Lane is looking for an associate to join its co-investment team in Philadelphia. The associate will be responsible for evaluating equity and credit investments in companies alongside private equity investment sponsors. He or she will perform financial and business due diligence to determine risk/reward profiles of co-investment opportunities, create and assess complex financial models, and monitor existing investments. Candidates should have at least three years of work experience, preferably at least two years in investment banking or a principal investing position. The co-investment team manages approximately $2 billion in discretionary capital and invests across a widely diverse set of geographies and industry sectors.

McNally Capital is searching for a senior associate to supports its private equity investment efforts in Chicago. Responsibilities include investment evaluation and due diligence, sourcing debt capital to support transaction execution, and conducting primary and secondary research to develop investment theses and identify attractive acquisition targets. The senior associate should have two to four years of relevant professional experience, including one to two years in private equity. McNally Capital is a private equity firm that invests in  lower middle market companies with between $4 million and $20 million of EBITDA.

Abbott Capital Management is hiring a senior investment associate/vice president in New York. The successful candidate will assist in the sourcing, screening, evaluating and monitoring of primary and secondary private equity partnership investments. Responsibilities may include researching and conducting due diligence on potential investment opportunities including reference checks and portfolio company visits, monitoring existing private equity partnerships including reviewing financial statements, attending annual meetings and general partner updates, and preparing quantitative analysis and qualitative reports on prospective and existing primary and secondary partnership fund investments. Applicants should have three to five years relevant experience in private equity fund investing. Abbott Capital Management is a private equity fund-of-funds manager based in New York.

High Road Capital Partners is recruiting a senior associate in New York. The hire will work closely with the firm’s transaction teams and have an integral role in investment activities and portfolio company monitoring. Duties include completing detailed financial analysis and due diligence for prospective acquisition targets, performing data extraction and analysis of target company financial information, and developing complex financial forecast models, including stand-alone and merger models. An MBA is required and the candidate should have a minimum of two years experience in private equity, investment banking or transaction financing at the smaller end of the middle market.  High Road Capital Partners is a private equity firm that targets companies at the smaller end of the middle market.

World Class Capital Group is searching for a vice president of acquisitions in New York. The hire will manage the sourcing, underwriting, acquisition/disposition, and debt/equity procurement processes for assets in multiple states.  He or she will also direct and oversee the activities of the acquisitions team to ensure efficient operations, compliance with standards and procedures, and sound investment decisions.
