Based in York, Kinard is a provider of short-haul trucking and warehousing services.

A & S Services Group, LLC (A&S), announced today that it has acquired substantially all of the assets of Kinard Trucking, Inc., and its affiliates (Kinard). The terms of the asset purchase were not disclosed.
The combination of A&S and Kinard creates a leading transportation solutions firm to serve major shippers in the Mid-Atlantic region, from the Northeast to North Carolina and as far west as Indiana. The joining of these two transportation specialists creates a number of benefits–leveraging the strengths of both organizations, increasing the rate of growth, and combining resources and skilled employees to sustain a premier position in the industry. The combined company features the region’s most experienced group of professional drivers, the most efficient fleet management software in the industry, a blue-chip customer base and market-leading service standards. All transport vehicles owned by both companies are late-model, state-of-the-art trucks that adhere to the stringent standards of the Federal Motor Carrier Safety Regulations.
