Actis has named Ellen Li as managing director and head of Asia of the Investor Development Group. Previously, Li worked for Franklin Templeton Investment in Asia where she served as director of institutional sales.
London, June 7 2018: Actis, a leading growth markets investor, announces the appointment of Ellen Li as Managing Director, Head of Asia of the Investor Development Group (“IDG”). Ellen will report to Neil Brown, partner and global head of the IDG, and will be based in Hong Kong.
Ellen has extensive experience in institutional sales, having spent the last nine years as the Head of Institutional Sales for Janus Henderson Global Investors in Asia. Prior to this, Ellen worked for Franklin Templeton Investment in Asia as Director of Institutional Sales.
In her new role, Ellen will be focused on fundraising and investor relations activities across Asia. Her appointment follows the recent naming of Virginia Doble to the newly created role of Head of EMEA of the IDG.
