Adveq, a leading asset manager investing in private equity and real assets globally, today announces the promotion of Viswanathan Parameswar, Sasha Kugler and Patrick Küntscher to Executive Director.

Viswanathan Parameswar (Param) joined Adveq in 2009 in the Investment Management team where he was instrumental in setting up Adveq’s global secondaries programme. As Head of Adveq Secondaries, Param leveraged his international experience having been actively involved in Adveq’s investment activities across the US, Europe and Asia, particularly in emerging markets. As of January 1, 2014, Param has assumed the role as Head of Adveq’s Asia programme, being responsible for the company’s investment activity in the region.

Prior to joining Adveq, Param was part of the Financial Advisory Group at Deloitte. He started his private equity career at Société Générale Private Equity and then at Rothschild in France. Param holds an MBA from the HEC School of Management, Paris.

Sasha Kugler joined Adveq in 2005 and is responsible for Human Resources and Facility Management at Adveq. Sven Lidén, CEO of Adveq said:
“These promotions reflect each individual’s longstanding contribution to developing our business as a truly global player.

“Param is an integral member of our investment management team; he gained valuable experience as Head of our worldwide secondaries programme. Now, as the Head of Adveq Asia, I am confident that his experience and his deep understanding of the Asian market will greatly benefit that programme.

“Since 2005 Sasha was instrumental in the expansion of Adveq, administrating the opening of six new offices and setting the structures for tripling our staff worldwide.

“Patrick’s deep knowledge and experience in structuring, regulatory and tax matters in Germany has positively impacted many of our client portfolios. His significant contribution to keeping abreast of the changing regulations continues to be essential for the firm.
