Adveq promotes six executives

Adveq said Monday that it promoted Farah Buckley, Richard Damming, Matt Ma Chang, Daniel Rhoads, Nico Taverna and Ethan Vogelhut to Executive Director.

Zurich, January 11, 2016 – Adveq, a leading asset manager investing in private equity globally, today announces the promotion of Farah Buckley, Richard Damming, Matt Ma Chang, Daniel Rhoads, Nico Taverna and Ethan Vogelhut to Executive Director.

The promotions are part of Adveq’s plans to expand its senior team, while increasing its number of employees around the world by 10% in 2015. The firm’s continued growth and strong performance have ensured the team has been able to take advantage of new opportunities.

Farah Buckley (née Shariff) leads Adveq’s London Office and is responsible for the development of the company’s client relationships in the UK. In her role, she advises pension funds and endowments on private equity fund investments and tailored mandate solutions. Before joining Adveq in 2012, Farah worked as a Director at MVision Private Equity Advisers.

Richard Damming joined Adveq in 2011 and is a member of the European Investment Management team with a special focus on Benelux and Southern Europe. His responsibilities entail all aspects in connection with Adveq’s primary, secondary and co-investments in these regions. Prior to joining Adveq, Richard worked at Capvent AG, a Zurich based private equity fund of funds firm.

Matt Ma Chang covers Adveq’s RMB and USD private equity fund business developments and business operations in China. Before joining Adveq in 2010, Matt worked in the Principal Investment Division of Jiangxi Investment Group in China.

Daniel Rhoads joined Adveq in 2011 and is Head of Investor Relations for the Americas based in the firm’s New York office. His responsibilities include advising Adveq’s institutional US and Canadian client relationships on private equity fund investments and tailored mandate solutions. Daniel has spent the bulk of his career in private equity, most recently serving as Vice President on the private equity team of Oppenheimer & Co.

Nico Taverna is the Head of the Adveq Secondaries program. Within his role, he is responsible for coordinating the sourcing, evaluation and negotiation of all secondary transactions for the company. Before joining Adveq in 2012, Nico was a private equity secondary specialist with Partners Group.

Ethan Vogelhut is the head of the Adveq Opportunity program and leads Adveq’s US buyout & turnaround investment activities across primary funds, secondaries, and co-investments. Ethan has worked for Adveq for six years and his past experience includes private equity, portfolio company operations and investment banking.
