Robert Raidt, Director of Business Development
Robert Raidt’s expertise in advertising, marketing, digital media, and client relationship development allows him to construct integrated solutions that fit client’s needs and solve their marketing objectives. He is a member of the Financial Communications Society and understands the intricacies of the private equity and venture capital markets. Robert has been employed at Buyouts Insider for 6 years and previously worked at Crain Communications, Source Media, The Deal, and The New York Times. He has a Bachelor of Science from the University of Richmond and a Master’s in Business Administration from Fordham University. Robert has a penchant for European travel, is a sports enthusiast, and enjoys golf, tennis, hiking, SUP, drums and Golden Retrievers.
Lindsey Wolf, Assistant Director, Strategic Partnerships
Spending the majority of her career as a logistical head, Lindsey brings over 12 years of event knowledge to her position. She is passionate about ensuring her clients have every need met, and she creates unique opportunities for lead generation and branding.
Kevin McCaffrey, Director of Business Development
Kevin works in a fundraising role that connects institutional investors with fund managers by leveraging the conferences and media services of Buyouts Insider. As an “intrapreneur,” Kevin has a history of building and selling viable services in various industries — most recently helping to launch Buyouts Insider’s ExecConnect fundraising platform and PartnerConnect events for private equity and venture capital firms.
Following his Lehigh engineering background and early telecom sales experience, Kevin became an entrepreneur and a methodical manager as founder of a construction and real estate investment company, Red Bank Properties, which he sold to pursue a career in finance. Applying his marketing and sales experience, he created events for his other company, Good Life Productions. After a role with a NYSE-floor trading firm prompted him to start an independent research and fundraising platform, Kevin built new financial research services for the global provider, Frost & Sullivan. An opportunity to lead a new project for Thomson Reuters brought about his current fundraising role.
Grant Catton, Director of LP Relations
Grant Catton brings to the table superior communication and client service skills honed from his 12-year career serving the financial services industry. Grant has been with Buyouts Insider since November 2011. His role includes recruiting private equity and venture capital LPs for the company’s PartnerConnect, Emerging Manager Connect, and Family Office Connect conferences, as well as coordinating and administering the onsite LP-GP meetings program: ExecConnect.
Prior to Buyouts Insider, Grant spent six years as a financial journalist with Institutional Investor News and SourceMedia, covering topics ranging from M&A, Asset-Backed and Mortgage-Backed Securities, the Privately-Placed 144(a) bond market, and Securities Compliance and Regulation. Grant holds a Master of Fine Arts degree in Creative Writing from Butler University in Indianapolis and is currently based in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania where he enjoys writing, keeping fit, and spending time with his family and friends.
Allison Brown, Associate Art Director
Allison has been working as a designer for Buyouts Insider for three years. She recently took over responsibility of the art department for Buyouts Insider, and became the Associate Art Director. In this role, she produces the VCJ and Buyouts publications, along with several other reports and directories. She also designs all advertising and marketing efforts, in addition to many other projects. She is an alumna of the University of Miami and holds a bachelor’s degree in marketing and graphic design. In her free time, Allison enjoys spending time with her 7-year-old Yorkie and visiting her family in Central Florida.
Karolina Tarczynska, Marketing Manager, Events
After receiving a master’s degree in marketing from Florida State University and an undergraduate degree from the University of Miami, Karolina started her career running private equity conferences. Currently in her second year as a marketing manager at Buyouts Insider, she heads marketing on the PartnerConnect conference brand. PartnerConnect events bring together managers and investors for meaningful networking and unbeatable content. Outside of the office, Karolina runs marathons and enjoys walks with her two dogs.
Suzanne Thomas, Marketing Manager, Subscriptions & Products
Suzanne leads the marketing of advertising, products, and subscriptions for Buyouts Insider. She is an alumna of George Mason University, an award-winning marketer and a longtime resident of Northern Virginia.
In her spare time, Suzanne can be found at her kids’ football, swimming, track, & cheerleading sporting events around the Washington D.C. area. Her co-workers would be surprised to know that she is also an award-winning theatrical make-up artist who designs the make-up and wig looks for many local theater groups.
