American Industrial Partners has acquired Gerber Technology, a provider of software, automation and vision solutions for the apparel, graphics, packaging and other industrial sectors. No financial terms were disclosed.
TOLLAND, Conn., Sept. 1, 2016 /PRNewswire/ — Gerber Technology, the world leader in integrated software, automation and vision systems for the apparel, graphics, packaging and other industrial markets, today announced American Industrial Partners (AIP) acquired all of its outstanding shares. The investment in Gerber was made out of American Industrial Partners Capital Fund VI, LP – a $1.8 billion fund that closed in September 2015.
