Airbnb, the home-sharing platform, is close to filing confidentially for an IPO, reported the Wall Street Journal. The news outlet noted that Morgan Stanley has been hired to lead the offering “with Goldman Sachs Group Inc also playing a key role.” Airbnb’s backers include TPG Capital Management LP, Silver Lake and Sixth Street Partners.
