Alantra recruits Mannering as MD

Alantra, an investment bank and asset manager, has hired Justine Mannering as managing director. Previously, Mannering worked at BDA Partners where she most recently served as global head of consumer and luxury.

Alantra, a global investment banking and asset management firm, is pleased to welcome Justine Mannering as Managing Director. Ms. Mannering will join Alantra’s successful international Consumer Goods & Retail team. She specializes in the areas of Apparel & Accessories and Personal Care.

Ms. Mannering has advised numerous consumer and luxury clients on buy-side, sell-side, debt and restructuring transactions. Ms. Mannering joined from BDA Partners, an international investment banking firm focused on cross-border transactions involving Asia where she worked from 2011 to 2017, most recently as Global Head of Consumer & Luxury.

Prior to BDA, Ms. Mannering worked for the Consumer & Financial Sponsor Groups at DC Advisory Partners in London, as well as for Harris Williams. A qualified Chartered Accountant (South Africa) and CFA Charterholder, she graduated from Rhodes University (South Africa) with a degree in Accounting and Commercial Law.
