Allegiance Adds Harrington to Board

Allegiance, the Utah-based provider of services to increase client interaction with service providers and other companies, has added Christopher C. Harrington to its board of directors. Harrington previously worked for Omniture prior to its acquisition by Adobe Systems, and after, became head of enterprise sales for Adobe in the Americas.

SALT LAKE CITY — September 5, 2012 — Allegiance, a provider of VOCi (Voice of Customer Intelligence) technology and services, today announced that Christopher C. Harrington has joined the Allegiance Board of Directors. Harrington has 25 years of experience in leading and managing national and worldwide sales teams operating across diverse markets. His expertise in business management, global marketing strategy and product development will help guide Allegiance’s future growth.

Following the acquisition of Omniture by Adobe Systems in October of 2010, Harrington took over enterprise sales for Adobe in the Americas where he had responsibility for $900 million in annual revenue. Prior to the Adobe acquisition, Harrington was president of worldwide sales and client services at Omniture Inc., where he drove annual recurring revenue from $1.5 million to more than $500 million and had full responsibility for all customer-facing and revenue-generating activities throughout the company.

Prior to joining Omniture, Harrington forged a strong track record in leading and managing national and worldwide sales operations. Prior positions include vice president of worldwide sales for Domain Systems, Inc., an enterprise software provider; vice president, worldwide sales of RichFX, Inc.; and vice president, worldwide sales of Viewpoint Corporation, where he helped facilitate the acquisition of Viewpoint into Computer Associates in 1999.
Earlier in his career, after attending Southern Utah University, Harrington was national sales operations manager for The DIRECTV Group, Inc. and call center director for Convergys Corporation. Harrington was recognized by the American Business Awards (The Stevies) as the Global Sales Leader in 2006 and 2007. Additionally, the Omniture sales team that he built was recognized as the Best Global Sales Team in 2004, 2005 and 2006.
