Alliance HealthCare to buy e+CancerCare

Alliance HealthCare Services has agreed to buy e+CancerCare, a portfolio company of Kohlberg & Co. Financial terms weren’t announced. E+CancerCare, of Nashville, operates outpatient cancer centers with 24 locations in 10 states. Cain Brothers provided financial advice to Kohlberg and e+CancerCare.

e+CancerCare, a portfolio company of Kohlberg & Company, signed a definitive agreement to be acquired by Alliance HealthCare Services. The transaction is expected to close following customary regulatory and financial approvals.

The Company is a leading operator of outpatient cancer centers with 24 locations in 10 states. Its services include radiation therapy, medical oncology and chemotherapy services, and PET/CT imaging. Services are provided through unique partnerships with health systems and physician groups to provide care on campus and at offsite facilities. 

Alliance HealthCare Services operates more than 600 diagnostic radiology facilities, including 99 fixed-site radiology locations and 60 cancer centers in 47 states. The combination with e+CancerCare will expand Alliance’s national footprint.

Cain Brothers served as exclusive financial advisor to Kohlberg and e+CancerCare in conjunction with the transaction.
