France’s Alstom has filed a request for arbitration before the International Chamber of Commerce about its acquisition of Bombardier Transportation, Reuters reported. The claim is against Montreal-based Bombardier and concerns the breach of provisions of the sale and purchase agreement. Bombardier and Caisse de dépôt et placement du Québec in 2021 sold the rail business to Alstom for about $6 billion.
