PRESS RELEASE
Altus Capital Partners, Inc. (“Altus”), a leading private equity investment firm focused on niche middle market manufacturing companies in the U.S., today announced it has named Kim VanCleef as Vice President. She will work from Altus’ Chicago-area office, which is run by Greg L. Greenberg, Senior Partner.

Ms. VanCleef comes to Altus with strong workout and deal-structuring experience, most recently at Alvarez & Marsal and, earlier, at Dymas Capital Management, an affiliate of Cerberus Capital Management.

“Kim will be a valuable addition to our team as we continue to find investment opportunities in middle market manufacturing/industrial companies in the U.S.,” Mr. Greenberg said. “Kim’s strong background in all facets of sourcing and evaluating transactions and underwriting debt financings will support the implementation of Altus’ investment strategy. At the same time, through her work in distressed situations, she has a solid understanding of the dynamics of carve-out opportunities at large corporates.”

At Dymas Capital Management, where she was an Assistant Vice President, Ms. VanCleef was intimately involved in portfolio-investment management and the execution of new investments. At Alvarez & Marsal, she worked as a financial advisor to companies and stakeholders operating in both Chapter 11 and out-of-court restructurings. She began her career in finance at William Blair & Company in investment banking and debt capital markets activities.

She holds a B.A. with a concentration in finance from the Eli Broad College of Business at Michigan State University.
