Lincoln Bloomfield Jr. has joined Pegasus Capital Advisors as an operating advisor. He has held several senior governmental positions, and most recently was a Presidential Special Envoy charged with reducing the threat to global aviation from shoulder-fired missiles.
Pegasus Capital Advisors today announced the appointment of Ambassador Lincoln P. Bloomfield, Jr., as an Operating Advisor to the firm. Bloomfield has held numerous positions in the U.S. Departments of State and Defense as well as the White House, and brings extensive knowledge of foreign policy and international security issues. As an Operating Advisor to Pegasus, Bloomfield will be a resource to the firm and its portfolio companies.

Bloomfield has held numerous senior positions in Washington, including Assistant Secretary of State for Political-Military Affairs, Principal Deputy Assistant Secretary of Defense for International Security Affairs, and Deputy Assistant to the Vice President for National Security Affairs. Most recently he was a Presidential Special Envoy responsible for reducing the threat to global aviation from shoulder-fired missiles in the hands of extremists. He is currently Chair of the Stimson Center, a nonpartisan security think-tank in Washington.
Bloomfield is a graduate of Harvard College and the Fletcher School of Law and Diplomacy at Tufts University.
