Top Hat’s Andrew D’Souza tapped as president of venture-backed Bionym

Andrew D’Souza has been appointed the new president of Bionym Inc, the Toronto-based maker of Nymi, a wearable device that authenticates users through their cardiac rhythm, and communicates identity wirelessly. D’Souza was previously the COO at Toronto-based Top Hat Inc, a provider of technology-based classroom and homework innovations. Founded in 2011, Bionym is a portfolio company of Canadian mobile technologies-focused venture capital firm Relay Ventures.
