Ottawa-based Granite Networks Inc, a provider of colocation, managed services and cloud hosting services to business and government clients, has been acquired by Rogers Communications Inc (TSX: RCI.A and RCI.B; NYSE: RCI) for $6.25 million. The company was the recipient of financing from angel investors, including the Ottawa-Gatineau-based Capital Angel Network, as reported by peHUB Canada in May.
