Angle Advisors appoints Firestone as MD

Angle Advisors has named Todd M. Firestone as a managing director. Previously, Firestone worked at Evercore Partners where he was a research analyst covering the exploration and production sector.

Birmingham, Michigan – July 13, 2017 – Angle Advisors announced today that Todd M. Firestone has joined the firm as a Managing Director.

Mr. Firestone joins the firm with experience in the energy sector. Prior to joining the firm, Mr. Firestone was a research analyst covering the Exploration & Production (“E&P”) sector at Evercore Partners and previously at Morgan Stanley & Co. in New York. Mr. Firestone led a research franchise covering 30 domestic oil & gas stocks and also worked on 15 E&P related initial public offerings while at Evercore and Morgan Stanley interacting on a daily basis with the world’s largest institutional investment funds. His energy-focused equity analyst role at Evercore was bolstered by prior industry experience helping establish a natural gas exploration company in Ontario, Canada, and also having worked for Vantage Energy, a Riverstone/Quantum portfolio company based in Denver, Colorado. Mr. Firestone will be based in Angle’s Houston office.

Mr. Firestone has completed over 25 transactions in the energy space with a particular focus on the upstream segment, including a large Marcellus Shale joint-venture in 2008 just as the Marcellus play was gaining international attention. While working at Vantage, Todd helped a twenty-person geotechnical team analyze numerous acquisitions as well assist with capital raising activities and syndication of senior lenders and unsecured mezzanine facilities. His transaction experience includes both the private and public markets having worked with some of the leading equity funds in the energy space. Mr. Firestone began his career at Eastdil Realty in New York, a premier real estate investment banking firm in the U.S. While at Eastdil, Mr. Firestone worked on structured joint-ventures involving equity recapitalizations of office and hotel assets.
