Arlington Capital Recaps Iron Data Solutions

Washington, DC-based private equity firm Arlington Capital Partners has recapitalized privately held Iron Data Solutions. Atlanta-based Iron Data develops software designed to assess, improve, manage and monitor challenging operational process issues for federal, state and local government clients, as well as private sector customers. No terms of the deal were released. Arlington Capital has roughly $1.4 billion of committed capital, and focuses on middle-market investment.

Arlington Capital Partners (Arlington), a Washington, DC-based private equity firm, today announced the recapitalization, in partnership with the company’s existing management team, of privately held Iron Data Solutions, LLC (Iron Data) in order to facilitate further growth. This transaction represents Arlington’s third government software deal in the last 12 months.

Headquartered in Atlanta, Iron Data offers a comprehensive suite of solutions, called Intelligent Process Management (“IPM”), that assess, improve, manage and monitor challenging operational process issues for federal, state and local government clients and transportation/logistics customers in the private sector. Iron Data has more than 400 employees across 11 offices around the U.S. and the world, including Amsterdam, Toronto and Shenzhen, China. Terms of the investment were not disclosed.
