Arlington racks up $700 mln for fourth fund

Arlington Capital Partners has closed its oversubscribed fourth fund at a hard cap of $700 million, beating its $575 million target. The limited partners of Arlington Capital Partners IV LP include public pension funds, corporate pension funds, insurance companies, fund of funds and foundations. Fund IV will focus on government-related sectors, such as aerospace and defense. Evercore Private Funds Group was the placement agent.

Washington, D.C., August 3, 2016 – Arlington Capital Partners (“Arlington” or the “Firm”), a Washington, D.C. area based private equity firm focused on investments in government-regulated and adjacent verticals, today announced that it has successfully raised its latest fund, Arlington Capital Partners IV, L.P. (“Fund IV” or the “Fund”) with total capital commitments of $700 million, the Fund’s hard cap, and in excess of its target of $575 million. The fundraise, which was significantly oversubscribed, successfully reached its final closing three months of its launch.

Fund IV received capital commitments from a globally diverse group of investors, including public pension funds, corporate pension funds, insurance companies, fund of funds, and foundations. The Fund will continue Arlington’s strategy of targeting high-growth government-related sectors including aerospace and defense, government services and technology, healthcare, and business services and software.
