Arsenal Capital Promotes Pair

Arsenal Capital Partners has promoted Christopher Johnson to vice president and Jeffrey Moffett to senior associate. Johnson joined the firm last year as a senior associate, while Moffett joined in 2006 as an associate.

Arsenal Capital Partners, a leading New York-based private equity firm that invests in middle-market specialty industrial, healthcare, and financial services companies, today announced the promotions of Christopher A. Johnson to Vice President and Jeffrey M. Moffett to Senior Associate.

Mr. Johnson joined Arsenal in 2007 from Dymas Capital Management where he worked on the origination, underwriting and portfolio management of middle market loans for private equity backed borrowers.  Prior to Dymas he worked at William Blair & Company, in the Investment Banking division, and at Arthur Andersen.  He is a graduate of the University of Iowa.

Commenting on Mr. Moffet’s promotion, Mr. Mullen added, “We are committed to building a strong foundation for the firm’s long term growth and all of us are pleased that Jeff has successfully assumed an increasing role of responsibility at the firm as we continue to move forward.” 

 Mr. Moffett joined Arsenal in 2006 as an Associate. Prior to joining the firm he worked in Citigroup’s Investment Banking Division.  He received his B.S. degree from the University of Virginia’s McIntire School of Commerce.
