Atlantic-Pacific Capital Partners Up

Sarah McFadden Sandström has joined Atlantic-Pacific Capital as a partner. She will focus on helping to raise funds for European clients, and previously was a director in Credit Suisse’s private funds group.

Atlantic-Pacific Capital, the largest independent global placement agent and advisory firm, today announced the addition of Sarah McFadden Sandström as a Partner in its Private Funds business. As part of the project management and advisory team, Mrs. Sandström will work closely with general partner clients on positioning and executing institutional capital raises for funds based in Europe.

Previously, Mrs. Sandström spent over 13 years in Credit Suisse’s Private Fund Group/DLJ, where she was a Director, playing a leading role as a senior project manager. She was actively involved in performing due diligence on potential mandates and was a member of the Private Fund Group’s Screening Committee and Pricing Committee. Mrs. Sandström has transaction experience in Europe, North America, South America and Africa. During her tenure at Credit Suisse, she led 15 fundraisings and played a key role in an additional nine transactions, aggregating to over $29 billion of fund commitments.

Mrs. Sandström graduated magna cum laude, Phi Beta Kappa from Brown University with a Bachelor of Arts in Architectural Studies with Honors and a second Bachelor of Arts in Organizational Behavior and Management.

Over the last two decades, Atlantic-Pacific Capital has acted as placement agent and advisor on 55 transactions, raising nearly $40 billion in capital. Recent fund closings for the firm’s clients have totaled over $3 billion in capital commitments, including the recent oversubscribed fund-raises for DIF Infrastructure II, Drug Royalty II and Riverside Partners IV.
