Tom Caputo, Ken Ebbitt and Dharmesh Thakker have joined Advanced Technology Ventures as senior associates. Caputo previously was with Microsoft as group product manager for Windows. Ebbitt was a senior product marketing manager at PayPal, in charge of global checkout solutions for the company on eBay. Thakker was director of corporate development at Keynote Systems.

Advanced Technology Ventures, a bi-coastal venture capital firm that invests in information technology, healthcare and cleantech companies, today announced that Thomas “Tom” Caputo, Ken Ebbitt and Dharmesh Thakker have joined the firm as Senior Associates.
Prior to ATV, Tom, Ken and Dharmesh had successful careers in technology and investment services, and each has over 10 years of operational and managerial experience. All three will be focused on ATV's IT practice, working with the firm's existing portfolio companies as well as identifying new investments in the software and services, internet and infrastructure market sectors. Tom Caputo joined ATV from Microsoft, most recently serving as Group Product Manager for Windows, where he developed and managed the Windows independent software vendor (ISV) ecosystem and initiatives. Prior to his tenure with Microsoft, he was Product Manager of QuickBooks at Intuit; Manager of e-commerce at Capital One Financial; and a Consultant with Mercer Management Consulting.
