Auctus Capital hires five senior executives, merges Monolith Global Partners

Auctus Capital Partners hired five senior executives, including CFO & COO, director of client services, managing directors and the co-founders of Monolith Global Partners. Monolith joined Auctus and the firm opened three offices in Charlotte, Los Angeles and Washington, D.C. John Dilatush joined Auctus as CFO and COO from Jade Gate Capital, which he co-founded; Nathaniel Orr-Depner joined as director of client services from Capricorn Consulting, which he founded; Shawn Jackson joined as a managing director from Bruderman Brothers. Meanwhile, John Ellsworth and Chad White, co-founders of Monolith, merged the firm with Auctus and joined as managing director and director, respectively.

Auctus Capital Partners is pleased to announce that five senior leaders have joined the firm, including CFO & COO, Director of Client Services, and Managing Directors, as well as the co-founders of Monolith Global Partners, which has joined forces with Auctus. The firm has also opened three additional satellite offices in Charlotte, Los Angeles and Washington D.C.

Effective throughout the month of September, the newly appointed executives bring more than 105 years of combined financial services experience across the Executive Leadership, Client Service, Capital Markets, M&A and Growth & Strategic Advisory teams. The new appointments include:

— John Dilatush joins Auctus as a Managing Director and has been named Chief Financial and Operating Officer. He will oversee the strategic direction of the firm, day-to-day operations and various client services and transactional support. Among other notable positions, he was a managing director and portfolio manager at Guggenheim Partners where he built out the financial services portfolio of a new equity market neutral hedge fund, after serving similar roles for a $2.5 billion-dollar portfolio at Citadel LLC and Partner Fund Management, a $5 billion AUM hedge fund. Immediately prior to Auctus, he co-founded and served as Co-CIO of Jade Gate Capital Ltd and was the CIO and head of investor relations for DAC Management, which was acquired by Blackstone in 2017.

— Nathaniel Orr-Depner (“NOD”) joins Auctus as the new Director of Client Services, working to ensure the highest level of performance from teams to drive exceptional outcomes for clients. Among other notable positions, he served as global portfolio and collateral manager for a U.K. based hedge fund and managing director at a Cayman-based broker dealer. He has extensive experience building, growing, and overseeing businesses, as well as trading in equities, FX, commodities, and hedging a global portfolio using various asset classes. Immediately prior to Auctus, he founded Capricorn Consulting Limited and championed strategy for Best Buy Business, the fastest growing channel within the parent company.

— Shawn Jackson joins Auctus as a Managing Director and will oversee the Los Angeles office. He brings over 20 years of investment banking experience in both middle market and bulge-bracket arenas, having been involved in transactions ranging from $10 million to $5 billion, holding positions at Credit Suisse and BMO, as well as New Century Capital Partners and other investment baking boutiques. Immediately prior to Auctus, he ran the Los Angeles office of Bruderman Brothers, a New York based financial services firm specializing in middle market mergers and acquisitions and corporate finance.

— John Ellsworth joins Auctus as a Managing Director. He is an accomplished senior business executive and chief legal officer serving executives as an invaluable partner for more than 20 years. He held leadership positions with two publicly traded companies from 2000 to 2017, including executive vice president and general counsel for Fortune 1000 international technology solutions provider ScanSource and retail chain One Price Clothing.

— Chad White joins Auctus as a Director. He brings nearly two decades of financial service experience and expertise across capital markets, corporate finance, and deal structuring from all ends of the spectrum. He is a FINRA-registered investment banking and general securities representative and has worked in varying roles at top wealth management, advisory and brokerage firms concentrating on compliant corporate finance, capital markets, advisory and digital securities smart contract solutions.

Immediately prior, both Mr. Ellsworth and Mr. White co-founded Monolith Global Partners, a financial technology driven M&A advisory firm that has joined forces with Auctus.
