PRESS RELEASE

Audax Private Equity portfolio company, Axia Women’s Health, acquires Seven Hills OB/GYN Associates and The Rubino OB/GYN Group

The Company
Rubino OB/GYN Group, P.A. (“Rubino”) is a group of 10 leading OB/GYN providers, based in Northern New Jersey.

Seven Hills OB-GYN Associates, LLC (“Seven Hills”) is a leading provider of women’s health services in Ohio and Kentucky. Headquartered in Cincinnati, Seven Hills is comprised of approximately 40 physicians and operates 19 clinical locations.

The Deal
Axia Women’s Health (“Axia”), a portfolio company of Audax Private Equity (“Audax”) has completed partnerships with Rubino and Seven Hills, representing the company’s 13th and 14th acquisitions under Audax ownership. Seven Hills represents Axia’s third acquisition outside of Pennsylvania and New Jersey, and builds on Axia’s growing presence in the Midwest market following the acquisition of OB/GYN of Indiana in November, 2019.

The Thesis
In March 2017, Audax formed Axia with the mission to become a leading provider of women’s health services in Pennsylvania and New Jersey. Audax’ thesis for the Axia acquisition was to grow the company through organic initiatives (such as improved patient care, ancillary services, and value-based reimbursement programs) and add-on acquisitions. Rubino and Seven Hills each represent a significant step towards creating a national women’s health platform.
