Liquid Environmental Solutions, which is backed by Audax Private Equity, has acquired FloHawks, a provider of commercial and residential pumping and septic services in the Pacific Northwest. No financial terms were disclosed.

The Company
FloHawks is a provider of commercial and residential pumping and septic services in the Pacific Northwest, headquartered in Puyallup, WA. FloHawks was formerly a division of Northwest Cascade, Inc.

The Deal
Liquid Environmental Solutions (“LES”), a portfolio company of Audax Private Equity (“Audax”) has completed the acquisition of FloHawks, representing the company’s fourth acquisition since Audax’ investment.

The Thesis
In December 2017, Audax Private Equity acquired Liquid Environmental Solutions. Headquartered in Irving, TX, LES is a leading provider of non-hazardous liquid waste management and disposal services. LES collects, processes, and beneficially recovers materials from a wide variety of waste sources, including grease traps, oil water separators, grit traps, general industrial, and used cooking oil. The acquisition of FloHawks strengthens LES’ market position in the Pacific Northwest region, increasing regional density and adding complementary pumping and septic services to LES’ existing offerings. LES remains focused on growing organically and through acquisition, and is seeking add-on acquisitions that help to expand its geographic footprint, increase route density, and strengthen its existing service portfolio.
