Ares Management has agreed to buy commercial finance company First Capital Holding's loan portfolio. No financial terms were disclosed for the transaction that is expected to be completed during the second quarter of this year. First Capital is backed by H.I.G. Capital.
Menlo Park, California-based Interana, a provider of self-service analytics for event data, has named Rich Sanzi as vice president of engineering. Previously, Sanzi worked at NetApp, where he served as vice president of engineering. Interana is backed by Battery Ventures, Data Collective, Fuel Capital, Index Ventures, SV Angel and Y Combinator.
CID Capital has recapitalized Fit & Fresh, a maker of products that allow people to take healthy and fresh foods and drink with them while on the go. No financial terms were disclosed. Academy Bank provided the senior financing for the transaction while Medallion Capital provided the subordinated debt financing.
