AXA Private Equity said Wednesday that it is taking a 30% stake in FrancEnergies Group, a French energy solutions specialist.

AXA Private Equity, the leading diversified private equity firm, today announced today that is taking a 30% stake in FrancEnergies Group, the French energy solutions specialist.
AXA Private Equity will work alongside the company’s founders to help support the ongoing development of the Group, which has seen significant growth since inception in 2001. The Group’s key objective is to further cement its presence across France.
FrancEnergies Group, based in the Rhône-Alpes region, is a major player in the renewable energy field and provides advice and assistance through its network of shops and branches to private individuals, professionals and local government on energy projects ranging from photovoltaic to heat pumps.
