Baird Private Equity Names Pan MD – CORRECTED

Baird Private Equity has named Gordon Pan a managing director. Pan succeeds Paul Carbone, who recently joined the Pritzker Group. In addition, Scott Skie, Baird Private Equity’s chief administrative officer since 2005, has been promoted to chief operating officer. Robert W. Baird & Co. (Baird), announced today that Gordon G. Pan has been named Managing Partner of Baird Private Equity, the firm’s global private equity group. Pan has more than 20 years of finance and private equity experience, including the past seven years as a Partner with Baird Capital Partners and, before that, three years as a partner with Baird Venture Partners. He also has been very active in the development and management of Baird Private Equity’s Asia capabilities. Prior to Baird, Pan served as a principal with One Equity Partners. He was also founder and CEO of an international consulting firm specializing in assisting the portfolio companies of private equity firms establish strategic alliances in China. Pan succeeds Paul Carbone, who joined The Pritzker Group, a Chicago private investment firm led by Tony and J.B. Pritzker and representing Pritzker family interests, in late February. In addition, Scott Skie, who had been serving as Baird Private Equity’s Chief Administrative Officer since 2005, has been promoted to Chief Operating Officer.
