Bernhard racks up $1.2 bln for sophomore PE fund

Bernhard Capital Partners Management, an industrial services-focused private equity firm, has closed its second private equity fund at $1.2 billion, beating its $1 billion target. Metric Point Capital and Moelis & Co. served as placement agents while Kirkland & Ellis LLPĀ provided legal counsel for the fund.

BATON ROUGE, La., February 6, 2019 – Bernhard Capital Partners Management, LP (ā€œBernhard Capitalā€ or the ā€œFirmā€), an industrial services-focused private equity management firm, today announced it has successfully closed its second private equity fund, BCP Fund II, LP (the ā€œFundā€), at $1.2 billion. The fund exceeded its original target of $1.0 billion with commitments from a diverse group of public and private institutional investors.
