Bessemer Venture Partners said it promoted Michael Segal to vice president from senior associate.
He will continue to work with Partner Ethan Kurzweil to identify startups in areas such as developer platforms, the consumer Internet and e-commerce. Segal is the founder of Skylight and a former product manager at Spotify. He re-joined BVP in 2015 after an early stint with the firm.
