


Blackstone Infrastructure Partners has named Jonathan Kelly as a senior managing director and head of European infrastructure. In his new role, Kelly will focus on building out a European infrastructure team and sourcing investment opportunities across the region.
Kelly will begin his new position on April 6, 2020. He will be based in Blackstone’s London office.
Kelly is the former managing partner and head of Europe for Brookfield Infrastructure. At Brookfield, Kelly also served as the global chief investment officer for utilities and data infrastructure. Earlier in his career, he also worked at CIBC World Markets in its power and utilities group.
Kelly has a bachelor of commerce degree from Queen’s University, which is located in Kingston, Ontario.
BIP was formed in 2017 with a $20 billion anchor commitment from the Public Investment Fund of Saudi Arabia.
