


The Benetton family and Blackstone have proposed a €58 billion ($63 billion) offer for Atlantia to take it private and stave off rival interest for the Italian airport and motorway operator, Reuters reported. The Benettons began talks with Blackstone after rejecting a bid by Global Infrastructure Partners and Brookfield Asset Management to acquire Atlantia and hand its motorway concessions to Florentino Perez’s Spanish construction group ACS.
