C3L3B Digital, a Simi Valley, Calif.-based developer of Web 2.0 and casual MMO games for the mass market, has secured $3 million of a $4 million Series A round from BlueRun Ventures, peHUB has learned.
The company's CEO is Joey Carson, former CEO of Bunim Murray Productions, a TV studio responsible for MTV's The Real World series. Other executives include former TV Guide Network talent producer Seth Bedell, who has brought along former TV Guide red carpet host Melissa Rivers as a board member. John Ebinger and Kwan Yoon of BlueRun also serve on the board.
