Brookfield Renewable Partners said it proposed to buy the remaining 38 percent stake in TerraForm Power Inc it does not already own, Reuters reported. The deal values the New York-based company at US$3.93 billion. TerraForm owns and operates a renewable power portfolio that includes solar and wind assets in North America and Western Europe.
