Brookfield Asset Management has put up for sale roughly 2,400 kilometers of Brazilian electric transmission lines held by its portfolio company Quantum, Reuters reported.

Brookfield Asset Management has put up for sale roughly 2,400 kilometers of Brazilian electric transmission lines held by its portfolio company Quantum, Reuters reported. The firm recently hired the investment banking units of Itau Unibanco and Banco BTG Pactual as advisors for a sale. Quantum has more than 5,000 kilometers in transmission lines requiring about $1.8 billion in capital expenditures.
