Chart of the week: Asia-Pacific funds produce strongest one-year returns for ILPA members

Asian-Pacific private equity and venture capital funds produced very strong returns for members of the Institutional Limited Partnership Association across all time periods, including the highest IRR on the board, with 24.35 for the one-year mark.

Natural Resource funds have suffered in the recent time frames, amidst the turmoil in the oil and gas sector.

The benchmarks below were created by Cambridge Associates for ILPA and are current through Q2 2015. The numbers reflect pooled net IRRs based on data from some 3,376 unique funds. All 3,376 funds have at least one ILPA member as an LP. The returns are weighted by the size of cumulative commitments to the funds.
