Chart of the Week: Debt multiples at highest rate in over a decade

Pitchbook’s data shows valuations remained high as ever, leveling off from last year’s 10.5x. But 2017’s debt-to-equity multiple of EBITDA rose. Through Q3, the 5.8x debt/EBITDA level reached its highest in more than 10 years.
