Chart of the week: Funds spend more time in market

Private equity funds have been spending more time in the market. That, along with the pace of overall fundraising being sharply behind last year’s, is a telltale sign that the market is slowing. According to a recent analysis by Preqin, only a third of funds have closed in less than 12 months.
