Chart of the Week: Investors eager to back infrastructure funds

Funds targeting infrastructure, private debt and natural resources should see a big influx of capital next year, according to Preqin’s latest Investor Outlook report.

Infrastructure is by far the most popular area of interest. Of the institutional investors surveyed, 53% said they expect to invest more in infrastructure funds over the next 12 months.

On a similar note, 46% of those polled expect to put more capital into private debt funds, and 39% say they will invest more in natural resources funds, Preqin reports.
