Chart of the week: Massachusetts PRIT boasts best PE returns among public pensions

Massachusetts Pension Reserves Investment Trust Fund has the highest annualized 10-year private equity return among public pension funds, with 17.93 percent, according data collected by Bison for the Private Equity Growth Capital Council. The California Public Employees’ Retirement System led the way in overall capital invested in the PE marketplace with $31.5 billion — headlining a West Coast-heavy list. The rankings are based on return data current as of June 30, 2014.
