Chart of the Week: North American investments seen as best PE opportunities

North America presents the most established private equity marketplace and the majority of limited partners see it that way. Sixty one percent of those surveyed by Preqin said the region offers the best opportunities and 25 percent plan to increase their allocations over the next 12 months. Europe, second in perceived opportunity (44 percent), boasted the highest percentage of planned allocation increase, at 31 percent.
